About Our Practice

The need for quality health care with a knowledgeable and dependable doctor is essential in a growing area such as Trinity and the surrounding communities. Everyone needs a doctor but not every doctor is suited for you.

We understand the demands of family, work and life. That is why we offer evening appointments two nights a week.

Trinity Family and Sports Medicine is centrally located between New Port Richey and Land O’ Lakes with easy access from the Suncoast Parkway, SR 54 and Trinity Blvd.

We accept all major insurances as well as Medicare.

Meet Our Staff

Dr. Jesse Tippett

Dr. Jesse Tippett is a Board Certified Family Physician. He received his education and degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and did his residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Tippett also completed a fellowship earning a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.

He has served as team physician at USF, Eckerd College, and St. Petersburg College as well as J.W. Mitchel High School in Trinity, FL.

Juliay Tippett L.C.S.W.

Juliay Tippett L.C.S.W. is a mental health counselor who specializes in anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and behavioral issues. She works with children (starting from 5 years old), adolescents and adults. She seeks to offer a safe and supportive environment that will extend acceptance, trust, and understanding to those who are hurting.

Juliay is now offering telephone and email therapy for those who meet criteria after an initial face to face assessment.

Julie Chavez

Julie Chavez is an Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at Trinity Family & Sports Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Tampa. She continued her education receiving her Master of Business Administration at the University of South Florida, and finally, most recently obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Tampa.

She is accredited through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Lisa Goodman

Mary “Lisa” Goodman is a Nurse Practitioner at Trinity Family & Sports Medicine. She completed her nursing degree at Hillsborough Community College, her Bachelor of Science at State College of Florida, and her Master of Science at University of Tampa. She is accredited as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Adult/Gerontology.

Prior to working as a Nurse Practitioner, she enjoyed working as a Registered Nurse for 13 years.
